The CITYWATER partner Tallinn University has conducted a survey among citizens and civil servants in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and the results were for the first time presented at a workshop arranged in Tallinn on 22 May. The purpose of the study was to find out citizens’ and civil servants’ opinions about water protection. The results show opinions about what they have done or could do for water protection and their opinions of how different actors, including municipalities, can and should contribute to keeping the waters – from drinking water to the Baltic Sea – clean and safe.
To the seminar was invited representatives of local municipalities and other interested parties to participate and discuss the results. During the same day, the CITYWATER steering group had a meeting at Tallinn University. Read more about the workshop here.
